Avoid hemolysis and unnecessary exposure to light.
Testing Schedule:
24 hrs/day, 7 days a week, including holidays.

0.0 - 0.2 mg/dL

Limitations:
Hemolysis: Hemolysis interferes with the assay.
Lipemia: Roche/Hitachi 917/MODULAR analyzers - Lipemia levels greater
than 100 mg/dL (Intralipid) cause significant (greater than 10%)
positive interference to elevated direct bilirubins.
