Pink top tube Yellow top tube (ACD solution A)
Minimum:
5 mL blood in pink or yellow top, 1 mL bone marrow aspirate in pink or yellow top, or 3 cu mm tissue. Tissue may be fresh frozen or paraffin embedded formalin fixed. Body fluids in pink or yellow top tubes, Lymph node aspirates in RPMI.
Delivery Instructions:
Submit specimen to laboratory as soon as possible after collection.
Specimen Instructions:
Transport fresh tissue on dry ice. Blood, bone marrow and lymph aspirates should be transported on ice.

Interpretive Data:
Used as an adjunct in initial diagnosis or as a monitor of minimal residual disease. When used as a monitor of minimal residual disease, current samples must be analyzed in parallel with a previous diagnostic sample.
Test Limitations:
Specimens fixed in BS fixative are unsuitable for testing.

Multiplex PCR followed by Fluorescence Capillary Electrophoresis
