Fresh Tissue

Minimum:

One nerve biopsy at least 4-6 cm long.

Analytic Time:

1 week

Reference Range:

The pathologist will provide an intrepretative report.

Comments:

Place fresh tissue in saline moistened gauze for transporting to the 
Surgical Pathology Laboratory 5804 JPP. Do Not place tissue in formalin 
or glutaraldehyde fixative.

Light microscopy, electron microscopy, and teased fibers
