Minimum:


2 mL whole blood from light green top tube or 1 microtube top for 
pediatric patients


Testing Schedule:


Batch analysis performed on Tuesdays and Fridays.  Sample must 
be received by 0800 for same day service.  For additional services, 
contact Clinical Pathology Resident on-call at pager #3404.


Reference Range:


Adults 8-52 u/l; children have increased levels up to 90 u/l.


Comments:


Assay is not available on a stat basis.
