Collection Medium:
Urine - 24 hour/timed urine glass container with acid
Minimum:
Pediatric patients only:
Random or 8 hour collection is acceptable if patient is less than 10 
years old.
If collection is 24 hr urine collection, use preservative of:
  < 8 years - no preservative, refrigerate during collection.
  > 8 years - 15-20 ml 6N HCl added at start of collection.
Analytic Time:
2 weeks
Comments:
If screening for Neuroblastoma, the following tests need to be ordered: 
CATNBSU (Catecholamines, Fractionated), DOPNBSU (Dopamine), HVANBSU 
(Homovanillic Acid), METNBSU (Metanephrines), VMANBSU (Vanillylmandelic 
Acid).

Submit collection dates and times on requisition.
CPT coding is available under the individual test entries.
