Repeatably reactive plasma for antibody to human immunodeficiency virus 
types 1 and 2 will automatically be sent to reference lab for HIV-1 
western blot confirmatory testing.  If testing for HIV-2 is desired, 
please contact the laboratory.  Allow 7 days for results.  Confirmatory 
testing is a mailout test.  Results are available within 5 days upon 
receipt at reference laboratory.
