Following this series of lectures and cadaver dissections, the participants should be able to describe and discuss contemporary surgical approaches to the management of head and neck neoplasms, and understand the role of radiation and chemotherapy in the contemporary management of head and neck cancers.
The laboratory will include detailed prosections that demonstrate a wide spectrum of ablative and reconstructive procedures including pedicled and free tissue transfer reconstruction. Personal instruction with dissections is offered to course participants during the laboratory. The laboratory is particularly useful to residents in mastering the anatomy and techniques of head and neck ablative and reconstructive procedures.

 

 

20th Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Course

This two-day course is designed to provide otolaryngologists with information and laboratory experience regarding advanced techniques and approaches in endoscopic sinus surgery. The participants will receive hands-on experience using endoscopic instruments and power instrumentation to perform FESS on fresh cadaver specimens.
