Research Day

Classes for first and second-year medical school are suspended for Research Day to allow all students to attend even if they are not presenting. This last year, there were 42 student oral presentations, and 79 student poster presentations with a keynote speech by a distinguished faculty mentor followed by a luncheon for all attendees. Approximately 400 students and faculty participated in the event throughout the day. Each year Research Day ends with a celebratory banquet where the very best presentations are awarded certificates and nominal cash awards.
