AWARD DESCRIPTIONS

Lewis D. Holloway Award for Research in Health Science Education: Recognizes a recipient of a CCOM Educational Development Fund award for accomplishments in research or innovation. Awarded annually.

Collegiate Teaching Awards: Recognizes clinical or tenure track faculty for their teaching excellence. Awarded annually, usually in the Fall semester.

President and Provost Award for Teaching Excellence: Recognizes faculty who have achieved a sustained level of teaching excellence and commitment to student learning.


President’s Award for Technology Innovation: Recognizes creative use of technology in teaching at The University of Iowa. All members of the UI community are eligible.

Regents Award for Faculty Excellence: Recognizes tenured faculty with a sustained level of excellence across one or more areas of teaching, research, and service. Usually awarded in the Spring semester.
