Processed Stores staff inventories and restocks 187 locations in the Carver, Colloton, Pappajohn, and Pomerantz Pavilions daily, each designed for the particular needs of the individual nursing area. General Hospital areas are served by a requisition system. A courier service is provided to all areas of University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics throughout the day to accommodate special requests or unusual situations. Processed Stores also provides "over-the-counter" service for issuing supplies to hospital staff, outpatients, and patients at time of discharge. The Processed Storeroom is located in room 0307 JCP.
