The Molecular Otolaryngology Research Laboratory provides several functional assays for serum complement activity of MPGNII/DDD and aHUS patients. My work includes performing assays and developing more functional complement protocols to improve clinical diagnosis. I am also working on the development of a novel therapeutic approach to the treatment of MPGNII/DDD by using genetically engineered fusion proteins.
