Standardized Patient Actor Training
The purpose of this online training program is to prepare you to play the role of an elderly patient with either Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease. Geriatric standardized patient programs provide medical students with experience and insight regarding how to promote function, and thus quality of life, for older adults.
In each section, there are links to printable materials you will use to play the role of a patient with Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease. Viewing and printing these documents required the free Adobe Reader. If you do not have the Adobe Reader, please click the button to the right to download it.
