Geriatrics Journal Club (GJC) Newsletter
The Geriatrics Journal Club (GJC) target audience is faculty, fellows, residents, medical students, nurses, and other health sciences students. The purpose of the GJC is to evaluate the latest diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in geriatric care, discuss current research issues in geriatrics medicine, differentiate the efficacy of various treatments in the care of common geriatric complaints/syndromes, and discuss current research issues in geriatrics across disciplines.
The GJC is held the fourth Friday of every month (except July) in the University of Iowa Department of Family Medicine small conference room, Room 01288 PFP. The GJC newsletter highlights the geriatric research publications presented at the meetings.
