Suggested Audience: Occupational therapists, physical therapists, and any other clinicians who recommend and prescribe mobility devices

Objectives:

Demonstrate competence in the concepts of utilizing best practices, standards of practice, RESNA position papers, and evidence in providing pediatric mobility interventions

Identify three applications of pediatric power mobility principles based on research

Verbalize practical applications of powered mobility devices and powered seat functions (including standing)

Understand strategies for the assessment, documentation, and appeals process for obtaining powered mobility interventions based on best practices and the use of evidence
