Summer Undergraduate Research Programs

The University of Iowa offers undergraduates from diverse collegiate and ethnic backgrounds opportunities for summer research in biomedical sciences. Participants are generally provided a travel allowance, housing, and stipends.

Student can choose from the formal programs listed below or contact faculty directly to inquire if an individual anrrangement can be coordinated during the summer months.

Research participants in both cases have the opportunity to participate in a weekly seminar program specifically designed specifically for them. There are also social events planned that allow participants to meet their peers and interact with faculty in an informal setting.

Information regarding program features, eligibility, application procedures, and program dates can be found on each program's respective web site.
