Medicine Alumni Society Board of Advisors

The Medicine Alumni Society Board of Advisors is a group of alumni and student representatives whose make-up reflects the demographic, geographic, gender and ethnic characteristics of the College’s alumni and students. The purpose of this group is to:

• Advise the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine on the development and promotion of alumni partnership initiatives that create meaningful volunteer opportunities for alumni as advisors, advocates, ambassadors, mentors and peer liaisons;
• Establish and support on-campus, statewide and regional/national programs serving to educate, involve and honor alumni;
• Help refine the communication with alumni and other external audiences;
• Provide support for students, residents and fellows at the UI Carver College of Medicine through programs, scholarships, fellowships, and financial contributions.
