Medical Education and Research Facility (MERF) Exterior

Constructed on the site of the former Steindler Building, the Medical Education and Research Facility represents the largest capital project in University of Iowa history. The Sahai Medical Education Center sits on the first two floors. Laboratory and research spaces include the Roy J. Carver Molecular Science Research Center and the Roland and Ruby Holden Cancer Research Laboratories.
