Research

The UI Department of Radiology is a leader of innovative research into new diagnostic and treatment services across all clinical subspecialties, including MRI, PET, breast imaging, cardiac and pulmonary imaging and imaging informatics. Of particular note are our research centers, which have received international recognition for their work.

Residents, fellows, medical students and graduate students are given the opportunity to participate in research projects and develop the fundamental knowledge and skills required for careers in research.
