Pink top tube (EDTA sprayed) 


Minimum:


Adult minimum: TWO prechilled 7 mL lavender top; keep on ice.
Pediatric minimum: 6 mL whole blood in lavender top tube


Delivery Instructions:


Mix well and place on wet ice.  Keep on ice and deliver to
laboratory immediately.


Specimen
Instructions:


Chill two 7 mL lavender top tubes for 30 minutes before collecting 
specimen.
