Comments: |
New assay as of (9/5/02). See reference range change. | ||
Test Limitations: |
Criterion: Recovery within plus or minus 10% of initial values. Icterus: No significant interference up to an I Index of 70 (conjugated bilirubin) and an I Index of 70 (unconjugated bilirubin) corresponding to approximately 70 mg/dl conjugated and 70 mg/dl unconjugated bilirubin. Hemolysis: No significant interference up to an H index of 500 (approximate hemoglobin concentration: 500 mg/dl). Lipemia (Intralipid): No significant interference up to an L index of 2000. There is poor correlation between turbidity and triglycerides concentration. Reference Glick MR, Ryder KW, Jackson SA. Graphical Comparisons of Interferences in Clinical Chemistry Instrumentation.
