Adult: 5 mL; red top tube
Pediatric: 2 mL; red top tube


Testing Schedule:


Bi-weekly (Mon and Thurs) - Batch analysis performed 
twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays excluding 
university holidays.


Analytic Time:


1 week


Reference Range:


<1:10 Titer


Comments:


All three antibodies are detected by this assay.  Include relevant 
clinical information and consultation request.


Methodology:


Indirect Immunofluorescence on monkey esophagus.  Salt split skin or 
rat bladder may also be used if EBA or paraneoplastic pemphigus is 
indicated.
