Sue has been doing research in the areas of immunology and molecular biology for 25 years. This included working with Dr. Malone for 2 years in Biology on the human genome project (when it was first initiated), 4 years in Internal Medicine with Dr. Krieg identifying CpG ODN as immunostimulatory molecules, and now 10 years in the Cancer Center with Dr. Weiner evaluating the effect of CpG ODN on malignant B cells, and more recently on the expression of Granzyme B by cells not typically considered cytotoxic (B cells and plasmacytic dendritic cells).
Away from work, Sue enjoys travel and is a particular fan of Alaska, the Caribbean and Disney.
