- How do I Create a Header on Page 2 and following, but not on Page 1
- Go to the bottom of the second page and click View > Header and Footer
- Type the content of the header
- On the Header and Footer toolbar, click on the Page Setup button (the open book to the right of the clock)
- In the dialog box, choose the Layout tab and check the Different First Page check box in the Headers& Footers section
- Click OK
- You can view the document in Page Layout view to make sure the Header is displayed properly.
- How do I Install Letterhead
- Change Word's Macro Security Level. Before running the template installer, you must temporarily reduce Word’s macro virus protection level to “Medium.” (It is very important that you turn macro virus protection back to “High” after running the Letterhead)
- Start Microsoft Word
- Click on the the Tools menu and select Macro
- Select Security
- Select Medium and click OK
- Close Microsoft Word
- Install the Letterhead Templates
- Click this link: Letterhead Template Installer
- Click Open when the dialog box appears
- After a few seconds, a dialog box will appear, informing
you that the document you are opening contains macros. Click Yes or Enable Macros to run the installation
program
- After a few seconds, the Letterhead Template Installer
dialog box should appear
- Click the checkboxes for the templates you wish to install, and click Install Selected Templates
- After a few seconds, the Installer will ask you if you wish to customize your templates. If you click Yes a dialog box will appear with instructions. If you click No, the installation process will be finished. For complete instructions, click here.
- Return Word's Macro Security Level to "High" (see Step 1 above)
