Alix Ashare, M.D.
Assistant Professor
Dr. Ashare's research interests include the effect of sepsis on Kupffer cell function, as well its effect on hepatic perfusion. She also studies the role of liver injury in the clearance of bacteremia, and the role of bacterial translocation in the development of organ injury during sepsis. Her clinical interests focus on the care of critically ill patients.
