Professor of Medicine and Associate Professor of Epidemiology

Dr. Herwaldt's research interests include: the pathogenesis of and risk factors for staphylococcal infections, the epidemiology of important nosocomial pathogens, the epidemiology of noninfectious adverse outcomes of medical care, and narrative of illness.
